Regional Development Australia Far North (RDA Far North) is not-for-profit organisation funded through agreements with the Australian, State and Local Governments in the Far North region.

The team at RDA Far North build partnerships between government, regional development organisations, local businesses, and key regional stakeholders to assist businesses, industry and government respond to economic opportunities and challenges facing the Far North region.

Regional Development Australia Far North is seeking expressions of interest from individuals with an interest in the future growth and sustainability of the region to fill vacancies on our committee.

Scott McKay, Regional Development Australia Far North Chair says we are seeking individuals who are keen to contribute, “RDA Far North facilitates economic development opportunities and investment for our regional communities creating jobs and growth, and we welcome nominations from people with an interest in growing vibrant liveable communities.”

“Industry, local government, small business, and community development should all be included in the discussion of sustainable economic growth, as it supports sustainable economic, community, environment, and cultural development. To complement the skillset of the current Committee, I am particularly interested in receiving nominations from applicants with a background the key service areas which make for vibrant liveable communities, including digital transformation, future industries, and we would welcome applications from the more northern parts of our region." Mr McKay said.
