Media Release – National Conference for Port Augusta in 2017

Port Augusta and the Upper Spencer Gulf is set to welcome delegates attending the SEGRA (Sustainable Economic Growth for Regional Australia) in 2017. SEGRA will celebrate its 21st birthday and conference in Port Augusta next year.

Dr Jen Cleary, Chair of RDA Far North and member of the SEGRA National Steering Committee said she was delighted that this major event would be hosted in the region in October 2017. 'I am delighted that SEGRA will be celebrating its 21st birthday with us,' she said. 'SEGRA has been an outstanding advocate for regional Australians over the years, and it is especially pleasing that SEGRA's first conference to be held in SA will be in our region,' she added.
