500 Miles of Music to lift spirits rural communities doing it tough
Organisers of a travelling country music festival across the Flinders Ranges and Outback are hoping the event will lift the spirits of locals struggling with the impacts of drought.
The inaugural 500 Miles of Music in July will make its way across four outback locations, Wombact Flat near Eudunda, Quorn, Blinman and William Creek, entertaining locals and visitors as well as travellers on their way to the Big Red Bask, the world's most remote music festival in Birdsville, the following week.
