Media Release – Quorn Men’s Shed receives Grant Funding

The Quorn Men's Shed has received a grant of $8,000 from the Grants SA Medium Grants Round 2 program to upgrade their kitchen facilities.

Mr Garry Thompson, Quorn Men's Shed Chairperson said "The Funding will be used to upgrade the kitchen facilities so that they meet all food preparation standards and will also improve efficiency and safety for members and other community groups that use the facility."

"The Men's Shed is located in the old Scout Hall, therefore this upgrade which includes installation of new benches, sinks and cupboards and a new hot water system will be a huge improvement on what we currently have and will be more functional for all that use it." Mr Thompson said.
