$10,910,000 Funding Boost for Key Projects in the Far North
Regional Development Australia (RDA) Far North has welcomed the announcement of funding for three key projects under Round Two of the Regional Development Australia Fund (RDAF) worth $200 million.
Details of the projects are:
- $5,000,000 for the redevelopment of Central Oval in Port Augusta to create a Far North Regional Community/Sports hub
- $910,000 for Coober Pedy's "Water for Growth Project" which will contribute towards a new 12km water pipe-line and irrigation system
- $5,000,000 for Unity Housing Company's Northern Region Affordable Housing Initiative which will supply 100 new affordable rental houses in northern SA regional areas.

Nearly $1 billion has been provided to RDAF for strategic infrastructure and economic growth and diversification.
