Regional Development Australia Far North (RDA Far North) is not-for-profit organisation funded through agreements with the Australian, State and Local Governments in the Far North region.
The team at RDA Far North aim to build partnerships between government, regional development organisations, local businesses, and key regional stakeholders to assist businesses, industry and government respond to economic opportunities and challenges facing the Far North region.

The Far North region is experiencing significant growth and Regional Development Australia Far North is offering the opportunity to a highly motivated person to work with industry, community, and government to meet the challenges and capture the opportunities these exciting times create.

RDA Far North is looking for a Regional Development Officer to help deliver projects, support regional partners, and contribute to the future of the Far North.

  • No prior economic development experience needed
  • Training and support provided
  • Ideal for early-career, career change, or return to work applicants.

The role is a two-year contract position working 38 hours per week, as a flexible employer, RDA Far North offers team members the opportunity to work a condensed working week completing their 38 hours over four days.

The position is based in Port Augusta, but covers the Far North, so there will be lots of travel throughout the region with our team.
